Internet Initiative Japan Inc., one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, announced the acquisition of additional shares of IIJ Media Communications Inc. (IIJ-MC) effective immediately. IIJ's stake in IIJ-MC's stock increased to 60.1 percent from the previously held amount of 50.1 percent.
